I'm Alisha, a committed designer-engineer with a keen interest in the development of inclusive and approachable solutions. Presently, I am pursuing my third year in the University of Washington, majoring in Human Centered Design & Engineering, and minoring in Disability Studies. I am a proactive member of the Steele Lab in the same university, where I strive to create accessible play environments for children who have disabilities. In addition, I lead the GoBabyGo technical team on the creation of adaptable ride-on cars, and contribute to the assembly of our yearly Bricolage visual and literary arts journal as the Director of Outreach. I am also a proud Society of Women Engineers member! When not working, I am an avid reader (I just reached my 100 book goal at the end of 2024!), and a zealous hiker making the most of the PNW lifestyle!
